Personal data protection policy
Last updated: 14 July 2026
Key point: the Dentuose application stores your patient data locally only, on your computer. No health data is transmitted to our servers. This policy therefore concerns only the dentuose.com website (accounts, subscriptions, support).
1. Data controller
The controller of the data collected on this site is iBudokan LTD, a private limited company incorporated under the laws of England, registered with Companies House (England and Wales) under number 16368466, with registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. Contact: contact@dentuose.com.
2. Data we collect
The dentuose.com website collects only the data necessary for it to work:
- Account: name, email address, password (stored encrypted/hashed), language.
- Subscription & billing: purchase and billing information, processed by our payment provider Paddle (see §4). We do not store your card details.
- Licenses: license key(s) and technical identifiers of the devices on which the app is activated.
- Support: the content of the messages you send us.
- Technical data: connection logs and strictly necessary cookies (session, authentication, security).
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Create and manage your account — performance of the contract (our terms of use).
- Manage the subscription, licenses and billing — performance of the contract and legal obligation (retention of invoices).
- Send service-related emails (confirmation, license key, renewals) — performance of the contract.
- Respond to your support requests — legitimate interest.
- Ensure the security of the site (logs, fraud prevention) — legitimate interest.
- Non-essential cookies (where applicable) — your consent.
4. Recipients and processors
Your data is never sold. It may be processed by our processors, solely for the purposes above:
- Paddle — payment and billing (acts as "Merchant of Record", handling VAT in particular).
- Clever Cloud — website hosting (France / European Union).
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) — delivery of our emails (contact messages and service-related emails).
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Some processors (in particular Paddle) may be located outside the European Union. In that case, transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent mechanism).
6. Retention periods
- Account: for the duration of the relationship, then deletion within one month after the account is closed.
- Invoices and accounting data: 10 years (legal obligation).
- Technical logs: 12 months.
- Support requests: for as long as needed to handle them, then limited archiving.
7. Cookies
The site uses cookies strictly necessary for it to work. To find out more, see our cookie policy.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection regarding the processing of your data. To exercise them, write to us at contact@dentuose.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
9. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encryption of exchanges (HTTPS), passwords stored hashed, restricted access to data, and the use of reputable providers.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page. In the event of a significant change, we will inform you by an appropriate means.
