Switching to Dentuose doesn't mean starting from scratch. If you already keep the list of your patients in a spreadsheet, you can import it.
1. Prepare your file
Start from an Excel (.xlsx) or CSV file with a header row: one column per piece of information (last name, first name, date of birth…). One row = one patient. Remove total rows or merged cells, which hinder the import.
2. Identify your columns
The order or exact name of your columns doesn't matter: during the import, you tell Dentuose which column matches which field. That's column mapping.
3. Import into Dentuose
From the app, start the import, select your file, then match each column to the right field. Dentuose shows you a preview before confirming.
4. Check
After the import, check a few records at random: names, dates, consistency. If anything is off, fix the mapping and run it again — the operation happens locally, with no risk to your data.
Good to know
The import concerns your patients; you then build your quotes in Dentuose, where tracking and analysis make all their sense.
